Special Presentation:
City Strategic Planning: Bobbi Bryant, Kentucky League of Cities

Ms. Bryant will present a KLC Strategic Planning Pilot Initiative for Cities in Jefferson County. Cities in attendance will learn of the benefits of this planning process for the future of their city and its components. Cities will have the opportunity for their city to apply for participation in this pilot program.


Councilman James was elected in 2010 to the Metro Council Sixth District representing the neighborhoods of Algonquin, California, Limerick, Old Louisville, Park Hill, Russell, St. Joseph, Shelby Park, Smoketown-Jackson, Taylor-Berry, University and the Central Business District. He was elected in 2018 as President of the Metro Council. He is Chair of the Metro Council’s Committee of the Whole and Committee on Committees. He is an ex-officio member of all of the Metro Council’s Standing Committee. He has a degree in Police Administration from the University of Louisville and joined the Lou. Police Dept. in 1984. He will review his priority goals for the year ahead and issues facing our neighborhoods, cities and community.
